Mail icon, is gone from the start menu. But the microsoft store icon is gone on the task bar but if you click on where it was, the microsoft store opens and my garmin express icon has been replace by a document page but will open garmin express. so in order for me to access my email, i had to open up outlook and pin it on my browser bar.

Having failed to access a website I was invited to ‘refresh’ the computer. This took about 5 minutes and when it had finished I discovered that several applications had been removed and the e-mail icon had disappeared.

Open Mail app and sync both accounts. Restart PC. Now Pin the mail app to the taskbar again. So I threw a bunch of things at you here. Give them a try. I use to get notifications on my mail icon on taskbar. I disabled a lot of Microsoft‘s garbage & no longer get them.
